Morocco is an Arabic country situated in North Africa. It has a long coastline on the Atlantic Ocean that reaches past the Strait of Gibraltar into the Mediterranean Sea.On the east side, it has its borders towards Algeria and the Mediterranean Sea. There is relatively a thin water border facing Spain and the Atlantic Ocean to its west.

Since 1975 Morocco claims ownership of Western Sahara and has administered most of the territory there. Morocco is the only African country that is not a member of the African Union, but it is a member of the Arab League, Arab Maghreb Union, Organization of the Islamic Conference and Mediterranean Dialogue group.

Morocco has some of the most traditional cities in the world such as Marrakech and Casablanca. It also has some wonderful beach towns for the people that enjoy spending their summer on the beach such as Agadir and Tangier.

Morocco at night

On arrival you will already experience the difference in the atmosphere with all the exotic aromas of herbs from teas and brightly dressed locals in town. You will also see the dying and hanging of all fabrics in any available space which brightens the town.
